Apple Ginger Fizz Mocktail

Sip on this mocktail with friends while giving your digestion a boost! Ginger helps soothe the stomach while ACV supports healthy digestion. Add cozy fall notes from cinnamon and apple cider and finish with refreshing mint.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup fresh apple cider

  • Juice from 1 small lime (about 2 Tablespoons)

  • 2 teaspoons raw apple cider vinegar

  • ground cinnamon or cinnamon oil - to taste

  • 5 fresh mint leaves, stems removed

  • 1/3 cup ginger ale

  • Ice to fill the glass

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker (or jar with tight fitting lid), combine the apple cider, apple cider vinegar, lime juice and cinnamon.

  2. Gently rub the mint leaves between your hands to release the flavor. Add to the shaker.

  3. Shake for about 20-30 seconds until the ingredients are combined

  4. Fill a glass with ice. Strain the liquid over the ice and top with ginger ale.

  5. Garnish with mint, a cinnamon stick or a lime slice.

Tips: Try using lime, cinnamon or mint essential oils in place of fresh ingredients. Make sure to choose oils intended to be edible. Start with 1-2 drops and add more as necessary.

Look for lower sugar or sugar-free ginger ale for less calories

Choose raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the “mother” as a good source of organic acids and enzymes to aid digestion.
